FreeMp3.online respects intellectual property rights. We operate as a search index over material that is already publicly available on the internet, and we host no audio or video files on our own servers.

If you believe that any link shown on this site infringes your copyright, you may send us a takedown notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We answer valid notifications within 48 hours.

What a valid notification must contain

So that we can act on your complaint, it must include the following information, as required by Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed — title, artist, and any reference that identifies it.
  3. Identification of the infringing material: the exact URL on this site where the reported link appears.
  4. Contact information: full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A good faith statement that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement of accuracy, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is correct and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

How to send a notification

Open the song page containing the link you want to report and use its Report a problem form, choosing Copyright infringement (DMCA) as the problem. The form asks for every item listed above and records the notification directly in our system, which is the fastest way to get it processed.

You may also write to our designated agent at [email protected]. Notifications sent by email must contain the same six items; incomplete notifications cannot be processed and will be answered asking for the missing information.

Counter-notification

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to [email protected], including your contact details, identification of the removed material and its previous location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was the result of a mistake.
